Academy readies for gridiron battle

Fireworks burst over Tecumseh Court in front of Bancroft Hall at the Naval Academy’s pep rally Wednesday for this weekend’s Army-Navy game. The traditional bonfire was postponed because of the flooded Farragut Field, but the midshipmen celebrated with fireworks and with the help of the Electric Brigade. The bonfire might be held Thursday evening if Farragut Field dries out enough, and the running of the game ball begins Friday.
