What was supposed to be a day filled with high school sports tournaments has turned into a rainy mess of nearly nothing.

The following tournaments have been cancelled:

• Cavalier Classic (Spalding, Broadneck, Chesapeake, Northeast, North County and Severna Park softball)
• AACC Tournament (South River, Old Mill, Annapolis, Severna Park, Broadneck, Spalding, Severn girls lacrosse - Day 2 will go on as scheduled on Monday)
• North Arundel Baseball Showdown (North County, Glen Burnie, Old Mill)
• Franklin Varsity Tournament (Severna Park baseball)
• Ken B. Dunn Invitational (Annapolis and South River baseball) 
• Patuxent Tournament (Chesapeake baseball) 

The Greg Carroll Invitational's (boys lacrosse) first two games, South River-Century and Severn-Archbishop Curley, both took place, with South River and Severn advancing to the final. The championship game was originally scheduled for 12:30 p.m. today, but it has been postponed to an unannounced date.

The Gerry Case boys lacrosse tournament at Broadneck, and the North County lacrosse tournaments are still going on as scheduled.
