There is no time of year like football Homecoming, especially when it involves the little guys.
Bowie Boys and Girls Club is going to have their Homecoming this weekend, and the festivities will begin Friday evening at Whitemarsh Park.
The Homecoming Courts, a bonfire (controlled I hope!) and a performance by BBGC cheerleaders will kick off the pregame ceremonies at 7 p.m. The Kickoff Game will take place at 7:30 and will pit the Bulldogs' Patriot Cubs against Patuxent.
Saturday will be the big day of football action and will feature some great physical action as well as concessions, face painting, a Moonbounce, DJ and a Team Tent Block Party --- good times!
If you're looking to be in the know for BBGC football, here is the schedule for Homecoming Saturday:
8 a.m. (Mites) Patuxent @ BBGC Black
8 a.m. (Mites) WWYO @ BBGC White

The BBGC football program, led by commissioner Jayson Craddock, has sustained its viability over the past year, despite issues had with the Prince George's County Boys and Girls Club, led by executive director Calvin Massie and his Merry Men (and Women). The county failed in its mission to "take it's ball and go home" in hopes of derailing the BBGC program.
Come out this weekend and support youth football! Visit www.bowiebulldogsfootball.com for all things BBGC football!
