Temple 27, Navy 24 at 2:41 in 4th

Navy's inability to move the ball on offense has cost it the lead. The Midshipmen managed just one first down on straight possessions, repeatedly putting pressure on the defense to get a stop.
The defense crumbled at the worst possible time. Temple drove 59 yards in just four plays to score the go-ahead touchdown with just 2:41 remaining. Tailback Bernard Pierce broke loose for a 41-yard scoring run on third-and-four.
Pierce is absolutely killing Navy, having rushed for 267 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries.

Don't feel bad, Pierce kills everybody - 2009-10-31
Pierce kills everybody. He's the reigning Pa. state champ in the 100- and 60-meter dashes and he bench presses 535 pounds. He's an NFL back.
