Interesting Niumat Note

Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo is a cousin of Irish freshman linebacker Manti Te'o's father, Brian. Niumatalolo, a former quarterback at the University of Hawaii, was born in the same town (Laie, Hawaii) where Manti Te'o and Notre Dame teammate Roby Toma are from. Both players from Hawaii know the coach very well, Brian Te'o said.
