Halftime Stats

Posted: November 14, 4:48 pm | (permalink) | (0 comments)

Navy has been out-gained 186 yards to 105. Fullback Vince Murray is sitting out today with a sore shoulder and he has been missed. Alexander Teich has one carry for only 3 yards while the Midshipmen have rushed for just 79 yards as a team. Quarterback Ricky Dobbs has been the primary weapon, rushing for 35 yards on 10 carries.

Meanwhile, Delaware has 117 yards rushing with tailbacks Jerry Butler and David Hayes combining for 83 of that. Quarterback Pat Devlin has completed 7 of 11 passes for 69 yards. The Blue Hens would have a huge halftime lead if not for the Midshipmen's defense forcing field goals on three drives deep int their territory.
