Quarterback Ricky Dobbs just dove over from the 1-yard line to give the Midshipmen a commanding lead with time running out on the Black Knights. A 21-yard fumble recovery and return by outside linebacker Craig Schaefer set up Navy at the Army 12-yard line. Dobbs broke free for a 10-yard run on second down then got the final yard two plays later. Dobbs now owns the NCAA single-season record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback with 24.
