NAVY MEN'S LACROSSE: Riding a six-game winning streak 10th-ranked Navy (8-1, 5-0 Patriot League) will play host to No. 4 Georgetown (4-2, 2-0 ECAC) tomorrow at 5 p.m. at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The contest will be televised live on CBS College Sports Network (formerly CSTV).
The game will mark the second Boyle Cup. The Boyle Cup is named in honor of longtime official Scott Boyle, who collapsed and passed away while officiating the Navy-Georgetown game at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on April 2, 2005.

Boyle was a tremendous ambassador of the game of lacrosse who was involved at every level of the game, whether it was little league, the collegiate level, the pros or even the World Games. He was well thought of throughout the lacrosse community. Scott's widow, Becky, and children, Kelly and Scott, will be guests and present the winner a trophy in Scott's memory.

NAVY MEN'S TRACK: One day after earning Patriot League Track Athlete-of-the-Week honors, middle distance runner Paul Harris has been recognized as the ECAC Track Athlete of the Week. This marks the first time in Harris's career that he has been distinguished by the ECAC during the outdoor season.

F&M WOMEN'S LACROSSE: Nine different players scored, including three with hat tricks to lead No. 1 Franklin & Marshall past Swarthmore 19-3.

Jen Pritchard netted a pair of goals and tied a career high with 11 draw controls to lead the Diplomats (7-0, 3-0 CC) to their seventh straight win.

Sarah Meisenbeg (Severn) had a goal and two assists for the Diplomats.

HOPKINS WOMEN'S LACROSSE: Sophomore Paige Ibello scored a career-high five goals to lead No. 15 Johns Hopkins to a 19-3 win over visiting Cincinnati on Thursday night. The win evens the Blue Jays record at 4-4 while the Bearcats fall to 1-7 overall.

Daniell Ensley (Severna Park) had a career-high three assits for the Jays.

Sophomore Brett Bathras (Severn School) also contributed a goal.

NAVY MEN'S BASKETBALL: Senior guard Greg Sprink has been named a Mid-Major All-American by the CollegeHoopsNet.com. Sprink is one of 32 players named on five teams (four teams, plus honorable mention), and is the lone Patriot League representative. Davidson's Stephen Curry was selected as the Mid-Major Player of the Year.

Sprink, a 6-5, 220-pound senior guard from Cardiff by the Sea, Calif., was the Patriot League's leading scorer with a 21.8 ppg average in all games played and a 23.5 ppg average in the 14 league games. He became the first Patriot League player to average 20.0 ppg in a season since 1998 and the first Navy player to do so since Erik Harris (20.0 ppg) in 1991.

MOUNT SOFTBALL: Jenna Zimmerman and Amanda Burk combined to drive in 14 runs to lead Mount St. Mary's to a doubleheader sweep against Coppin State. The Mount won the opener 30-0 before taking the nightcap, 13-1. The 30 runs scored in the first game set a program record.

Nicole Reeder (Spalding) and Amy Allison (Old Mill) had RBIs for the Mount.

SALISBURY BASEBALL: The No. 8 ranked Sea Gulls (20-1) defeated Virginia Wesleyan College, 4-1. The win marked Salisbury's 20th consecutive victory and evened SU's season series with the Marlins at one apiece. It was the Marlins (15-9-1) who handed the Sea Gulls their only loss this season back on Feb. 9 with a 5-4 win in 10 innings.
