Richard Pennell
Richard K. "Rich" Pennell, 44, a resident of Denton for eight years and previously of Edgewater, died April 25 in his home. The cause of death is unknown.
Mr. Pennell was born Feb. 8, 1964, in Annapolis to Augusta Marie Wilt Vaughan of Gambrills and the late Terrence O'Neil Pennell.
He was a diesel mechanic and welder, and worked for On Site Construction in Seaford, Del.
Along with his family, he greatly loved their four dogs and their horse.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Lynda Jean Pennell; and one brother, Bill Vaughan of Gambrills.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. May 31 in the Pennell's home. Arrangements are by Moore Funeral Home in Denton.

Barry Wildoner
Retired Marine Gunnery Sgt. Barry James Wildoner, 51, of Perris, Calif., died of cancer April 26 in his home.
Sgt. Wildoner was born Nov. 30, 1956, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., to James E. and Louise Bethel Wildoner. He graduated in 1974 from Wyoming Valley West and earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from California State University.
He served in the Marine Corps for more than 22 years, retiring in 1997. He served as a drill instructor at Paris Island, S.C., and served in Somalia during Operation Restore Hope.
He received the Good Conduct Medal with six stars; Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with two stars; Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon with one star; Navy and Marine Corps Achievement, National Defense Service, Armed Forces Expeditionary and Humanitarian Service Medals; Joint Meritorious Unit Commendation and Navy Unit Commendation Ribbons; Meritorious Mast; and the Rifle and Pistol Expert Badges.
Before his death, he worked as an application engineer for Machine Vision Products, and traveled to China, Germany, Finland, Wales, Mexico and England.
He enjoyed dancing, the wineries of California, culinary adventures and star gazing in the desert.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Sherri Marie Carroll Wildoner; one son, Erik Wildoner of Perris; one daughter, Cindy Mejia of Hazlett, Mich.; one stepson, Kristopher Reid of Pasadena; three sisters, Denise Strickland, Pamela Dulski and Danielle Malone; and one grandson.
A celebration of life luncheon will be held at 11 a.m. May 18 in the family home. His body was donated to LifeLegacy for cancer research, and arrangements were by Evans-Brown Mortuaries.
