The annual Joint Service open house, featuring the Navy Blue Angels, the Golden Knights and other aerial attractions, will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 16 through 18 at Andrews Air Force Base in Prince George's County.
This year's event features both military and civilian air and ground demonstrations, including the Air Force's newest and the world's most advanced fighter jet, the F-22. The F-22 demonstration will be on all three days starting at 1 p.m.
The Blue Angels will perform at 3 p.m., with the Golden Knights jumping at noon.
The open house is open only to Department of Defense personnel and school-sponsored children on May 16. The public can attend May 17-18. Admission is free. Parking will be available only at FedEx Field. Buses will operate continuously all day at the FedEx Field beginning at 7:30 a.m. The last bus will leave FedEx Field at 2 p.m. Buses will begin returning passengers beginning at 9 a.m. There will be food and refreshment vendors at the show.
