Letters to the Editor

The Capital welcomes your letters and will publish all that are not libelous or in poor taste.

• We reserve the right to edit letters.
• Letters cannot contain more than 300 words.
• Writers are limited to one letter a month.
• Letters that are part of an organized campaign will not be published.
• We do not publish poetry, letters anonymously written, third-party letters, political endorsement letters or letters praising or criticizing a local business.
• We attempt to publish letters within two weeks of receipt, but letters about local subjects have priority.
