Home burgled Someone broke into a home Monday on Halsey Road, city police said.
The victim told police that, sometime from 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., someone entered the home and took a television, two cameras and jewelry.
The 42-inch television weighed about 250 pounds, the victim told police. He said he believed it would take more than one person to move it.
The total taken from the home was estimated at more than $8,500, police said.
Drug arrest
A 24-year-old Annapolis man was arrested May 13 after officers allegedly saw him with a bag of marijuana, city police said.
Officers with the Narcotics Unit were conducting an operation on Newtowne Drive when they saw him holding the bag, police said.
When he saw an officer, he tried to run, but was caught. Officers found marijuana concealed in his underwear, and found a green ecstasy pill in his pocket, police said.
The marijuana weighed 18 grams, police said.
Anthony Drury of Hilltop Lane in Annapolis, was charged with drug possession and possession with the intent to distribute, police said.
Party scuffle
An Annapolis man was arrested Saturday night after refusing to turn down his music and getting into a scuffle with police officers, city police said.
At about 11 p.m., police were called to Americana Drive for the report of loud music. The man at that address called the complaint "ridiculous" and said he would turn the music down, but not off.
Police received more complaints less than an hour later about the same apartment. Officers went out to the apartment again, and the man again said that he wouldn't turn off the music.
Officers tried to put him in handcuffs but he resisted and ended up with a cut on his lower left lip, police said. Tracy Alan Chandler, 45, of Americana Drive, was arrested for failing to obey a lawful order and resisting arrest, police said.
Sign stolen
Someone stole the stop sign Saturday from Forest Hills and Bay Ridge avenues, city police said.
An officer was monitoring traffic in the area at about 8:30 p.m. and noticed that the sign wasn't there.
The sign and pole are valued at $300, police said.
Rods taken
Someone stole four fishing rods last week from the dock on Eastern Avenue, city police said.
The victim told police that the rods were taken some time from 9-11 p.m. Thursday.
The rods were valued at $540, police said.
