Christian Menk
Christian Menk, 32, a resident of Edgewater for over 25 years, died suddenly Aug. 6 at the University Hospital Shock Trauma Center.
Mr. Menk was born March 21, 1976, in Chile to Eugenie Menk of Davidsonville and the late Garry Menk. He graduated from South River High School in 1995 and worked as an electrician.
He enjoyed NASCAR, bicycle riding, dirt biking and the outdoors, especially boating and crabbing. He loved spending time with his children and taking them to amusement parks.
Survivors include his wife of over 10 years, Amy Menk; three sons, Tyler, Joe and Andrew Menk of Edgewater; and one brother, Garry Menk of Miami.
A celebration of his life will be held at 4 p.m. tomorrow at Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tyler, Joseph and Andrew Menk Scholarship Fund, care of the Bank of Annapolis, 120 E. Central Ave., Edgewater, MD 21037.

Lydia Nolan
A name was omitted from the obituary of Lydia Irene Nolan, 93, of Annapolis in Wednesday's edition of The Capital.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Arthur Nolan.
