Evelyn L. Armiger
Evelyn L. Armiger, 74, of Huntingtown and previously of Shady Side, Owings and Friendship, died Aug. 8 at Washington Hospital Center after a long illness.
Mrs. Armiger as born June 11, 1934, in Nutwell to the late Louise Morfoot and James Webster Marshall Sr. She attended Deale Elementary and Southern High Schools in Lothian, and took business courses at Charles County Community College.
She worked as a deli manager for Superfresh grocery stores for 30 years, retiring in 1990. She then worked part-time at the Hallmark card and gift store in Prince Frederick.
She was a member of Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church, and enjoyed fishing, watching birds, living near the water, flower and vegetable gardening, cooking and reading.
She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 30 years, Fielder B. Armiger Sr.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph R. and F. Bowie Armiger Jr. of Dunkirk; five daughters, Brenda J. Proctor and Robin Sue Baggerly of Chesapeake Beach, Ginger A. Nethers of Huntingtown, Teresa Ann Armiger of Millersville and Kelly L. Moraites of Owego, N.Y.; two brothers, David Lee and James Webster "Bud" Marshall Jr. of Deale; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and three great-granddaughters.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Rausch Funeral Home, 8325 Mt. Harmony Lane in Owings. Interment will be in the Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery in Owings, and a reception for family and friends will follow in the church fellowship hall.

Ruth Felice
Ruth M. Felice, 84, a resident of Heritage Harbour in Annapolis for over 25 years, died Aug. 8 at the Mandrin Chesapeake Hospice House in Harwood.
Mrs. Felice was born Nov. 12, 1923, in Berea, Ohio.
She retired as a civil service employee.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she also enjoyed golf, travel and bridge.
She was preceded in death in 2007 by her husband, Joseph S. Felice.
Survivors include two sons, Donald J. Felice of Annapolis and Steve Felice of South Pasadena, Calif.; one daughter, Fran Felice of Hyde Park, N.Y.; one brother, Philip Hill of Rhode Island; one sister, Betty McGinnes of Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
A celebration of her life will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.

Vivian Holland
Vivian I. Blake Holland, 78, of Odenton and formerly of Annapolis died Aug. 4 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after a brief illness.
Mrs. Holland was born Dec. 26, 1929, in Harwood and attended county schools.
She worked at Bay Manor Nursing Home, Annapolis Convalescent, and The Holiday Inn.
A Catholic, she also enjoyed watching gospel singing, doing word finds and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Holland; two sons, Thomas Brian and Emory Stephen Holland; and one daughter, Veronica Raline Mason.
Survivors include two sons, Michael and Reginald Holland of Annapolis; four daughters, Vivian Cornish of Annapolis, Aris "Sandy" Holland of Pasadena, Sundae Watkins of Gambrills and Tenicko "TC" Watkins of Odenton; seven brothers, Thomas, Henry, John, James, Benson and Douglas Blake and Thomas Mackell; three sisters, Ernestine Blake-Green, Kate Blake-Scott and Lucille Blake; 41 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit at 9 a.m. tomorrow at Reese and Sons Mortuary, 821 West St. A Christian wake will be held at 10:30 a.m., and the funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
Brandon Myers
Brandon Myers, 12, of Pasadena died of a brain tumor Aug. 7 at John Hopkins Hospital.
Brandon was born Jan. 19, 1996, in Pasadena, to Gordon and Susan Myers.
He was a faithful Star Wars fan and loved the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Survivors include three brothers, Travis and Gordon Myers Jr. and Brian Sprinkle; and four sisters, Audrey Myers, Crystal Rayman, Angel Blaher and Robin Lansinger.
Family and friends may visit from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, 3204 Mountain Road in Pasadena. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
