Truck fire
A pickup truck fire, considered to be accidental, destroyed the $9,000 truck and its contents valued at $10,000, said Chief Tobia.
At about 5 p.m. Saturday, county firefighters responded to a dwelling fire at 1199 Asquithpines Place in Severna Park, but found the pickup in a blaze.
Firefighters kept the fire from spreading to the adjacent house, said Chief Tobia, but it destroyed the truck and items such as computers and some cash.
"Twenty-two firefighters responded, which is the standard response in a dwelling fire, and brought the fire under control within 15 minutes," he said.
