Description

A picture postcard is worth a thousand words. Discover the golden age of the U.S. Naval Academy through picture postcards with Captain Randall W. Bannister, USNA (ret). His lecture is based on his book by the same name. The Maryland History Lecture Series is co-sponsored by the Anne Arundel County Trust for Preservation and the Friends of St. John's College. This year the series theme is "Local Stories in Maryland Life." Bannister's lecture, which is free and open to the public will be held in the Francis Scott Key Auditorium.
Each history lecture is preceded by a candlelit dinner in Randall Hall, which must be paid for in advance. A single reservation is $33.00. Dinner reservation deadline for this lecture: November 20.
