More about MyTime
If you can write a paragraph, ask a question or take a picture, you can be part of MyTime. It’s open to everyone from middle school up. We’re looking for your news coverage, your photos, your experiences, your knowledge.
We’re not looking for fiction. We’re going to trust that you have enough respect for your fellow Anne Arundel residents that you won’t make up stuff for a laugh. No poetry. And no opinions. This is not a forum for politics.
Material is published at our discretion and is subject to editing. Some of the submissions will be displayed on our MyTime page and others will be printed in The Capital. The list above offers views of previous week's pages from the newspaper.
At this time there is no limit to the number of contributions an individual may make, but if volume becomes an issue, preference may be given to those who do not contribute on a regular basis.
What might you write about? Your news, of course. Next week you’ll read about a blood drive at the School of the Incarnation. But you can also write about your history or your encounters. Have you met Mother Teresa? Donald Trump? George Clooney? Let us know. Or tell us how you coped with cancer or recovered after an automobile accident.
Submit your items, including photos, to mytime@capitalgazette.com. We’ll send you a short reply when an item has been received, but we won’t be able to tell you when it might be published.
