Spring has arrived at last! The month of May hosts many occasions - personal ones like weddings and graduations, but also national traditional ones such as Mother's Day and Memorial Day. While I can't think of any major art event or conflict associated with Mother's Day (outside of my own domicile), conflicts have played no small part in world history.
