School has finished for us. I always feel a little nostalgic at the end of the year - feeling torn between straining at the leash to get to the end because of the perception that the schedule will be a little more relaxed versus the guilt over what material was important, not covered, or ignored.

The change in schedule at least offers a diversion and all of the arts venues in town are shifting gears on subject matter - ones that appeal to the senses in a different way - generally excluding snow scenes or ships on ice.
