"Crossover" is the vehicular category du jour, meaning a cross of SUV room and visibility with car chassis and driving experience. An adaptive radiation is taking place as "in" crossovers replace the now-"out" SUVs in automakers' lineups, sometimes with interesting permutations on the common two-box, five-passenger crossover theme.
