She started paying for her riding lessons and gear at age 12 with money she earned from her paper route.
Now, the Lothian equestrienne helps other penny pinchers with Get Used to It, an Edgewater equestrian shop selling riding clothes, boots, saddles, bits, horse blankets, pony purses and plastic play horses.
She started out part-time in February, but three successful Saturdays of collecting items from 11 consigners made her realize she'd struck gold, and she opened full-time the next month.
