The Odenton Town Center is one of several commercial spots in the Mid-Atlantic region being considered for the consolidated headquarters of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, officials and consultants say, and a successful bid would bring thousands of employees to Anne Arundel County.
Staubach Co., a Virginia-based real estate consultant, won the contract to search for viable locations and has until May 11 to return a study with possible options within 50 miles of the Pentagon, said NGA spokesman Stephen Honda.
County officials have remained cautiously optimistic.
