The Annapolis area will soon become the center of an effort by two energy companies to resurrect nuclear power in the United States. Two months after President Bush signed a new energy policy into law, Constellation Energy Group and Areva Inc. of Bethesda have formed a new partnership to be headquartered in Parole that will develop, license, build and operate a new fleet of nuclear plants. UniStar Nuclear will orchestrate the two elements of the undertaking: Constellation's expertise at running plants and Areva's experience at designing the reactors.
