No matter what, in some fashion or form, Susan and David Adams were going to open their candle shop on Cornhill Street in time for the boat shows. Six weeks ago, Mrs. Adams went to a New York expo that showcased candle manufacturers in four buildings. She only had a day to spend. The couple purchased armoires and book shelves from a local furniture company, before looking around the house for what might fit. He repainted the shop inside and out. Meanwhile, candles were stacking in their dining room. Then, they crossed their fingers, hoping their third business in Annapolis would go as smoothly as the other two had before...
