Bestgate Road company an industry leader in keeping business travelers safe

On the morning of July 12, Ira Russ woke up to a startling reality. His shift supervisor at an Annapolis-based company known as iJET Intelligent Risk Systems informed him that terrorist group Hezbollah had kidnapped two Israeli soldiers.

That's when Mr. Russ, an iJET regional manager for the Middle East and North Africa, darted to work before sending a "critical alert" to 91 business travelers and roughly 200 security professionals.

The message was this: Israeli forces had entered southern Lebanon and intense fighting was likely.

Events such as this one provide quite the adrenaline rush, Mr. Russ said.
