George M. Davis of Annapolis was recently named president and chief executive officer of the Owings Mills-based Avatech Solutions Inc., a national design, engineering and facilities management firm. Mr. Davis, 51, most recently served as the company's executive vice chairman and continues to serve on Avatech's Board of Directors. He also served as president and vice chairman of Aether Systems, a wireless data software company until 2003.
