The service industry is turning Anne Arundel County's love for boating into a burgeoning business sector with everything from dockside deliveries to cooking kitchens - and much of it is upscale.

Herrington Harbour, in south county, has turned the marina industry into a full-scale resort, catering to a boater's every need. With simple amenities like ice available 24 hours a day and a grocery store to luxury ones such as a concierge service and hair salon, the "marina resort" can accommodate any need.
