The number of county homes sold in May dropped 29 percent compared to a year ago, marking the fifth straight month of double-digit drops.

Home sales fell by 30 percent or more in April, March, February and January. While sales continue to slow and gas costs rise, home prices held relatively steady across Anne Arundel County.
