Tech firm wins incubator awards
Annapolis — An Annapolis biodefense firm was named a winner in the 8th Annual Maryland Incubator Company of the Year Awards last week. PharmAthene won the Graduate Company of the Year award. The firm graduated last year from the county Chesapeake Innovation Center, a homeland security incubator operated by the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corp. The awards are sponsored in part by the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development. PharmAthene is headquartered at Park Place in downtown Annapolis.
