State bar offers foreclosure infoThe Maryland State Bar Association has created a free pamphlet to educate homeowners on the new state foreclosure law that became effective April 4. The brochure, Foreclosing Proceedings in Maryland, is now available online from the association's Web site, www.msba.org. Early estimates forecast 25,000 foreclosures in the state before the end of this year, and one in every 200 Marylanders is currently involved in a foreclosure proceeding.
