County home sales fall 29 percent in JunePublished 07/13/08
Consumers, hesitant in a weakening economy, held back on buying homes again last month, continuing a trend that has taken shape this year. The number of Anne Arundel County homes sold in June fell 29 percent compared to June 2007, marking the sixth straight month of double-digit drops, according to Metropolitan Regional Information Systems Inc. However, home prices didn't budge much. The median sale price for a county home stood at $339,000 in June, the same price as May.
