Less than two years after Boscov's Department Store opened at Marley Station mall, the troubled chain announced yesterday it would close the location and nine others as part of a bankruptcy filing.
Susan Kenney, a spokesman for the Reading, Pa., company said the Glen Burnie store and the other nine would be shut down gradually in the next several months. The store employs 125 people.
Although Boscov's has been a part of the local retail scene for only a short while, shoppers at Marley Station yesterday said they would miss it.
