An Annapolis firm played a pivotal role in coordinating the complex and tight sailing races that recently wrapped at part of the Olympic Games in Beijing.

Michael “Jonesy” Jones of Eastport company Pyacht.com assembles a custom-made cable set that the company provided for the recent Olympic Sailing competition in China. Pyacht.com, an Eastport-based boating supplies business, provided high-tech software and marine electronics to help the Chinese racing officials accurately and quickly place markers around boundary lines and prevent races from overlapping.
