Two 'bored' women open up Rosie Bea's at Clock Tower PlacePublished 09/30/08
A shopping center along Annapolis Neck Peninsula's busy Forest Drive is emerging as a close-knit community that is developing it's own identity as a speciality food destination.

Judy Pincus, left, and Elaine Becker, both natives of Brooklyn, N.Y., opened Rosie Bea’s Sweet and Savory Bakery at Clock Tower Place on Forest Drive in Annapolis in March. Their husbands, Ted Pincus and Harvey Becker, are partners and occasional bakery assistants. Business has increased steadily, and the owners have added Sunday hours.Rosie Bea's Sweet and Savory Bakery at Clock Tower Place has opened across the parking lot from Tastings Gourmet Market and Artisanal Cheese Center and the Wine Cellars of Annapolis.
