Giant, Safeway hold grand openings

Giant Food held a grand opening ceremony last week for its remodeled Severna Park store on Ritchie Highway.

Meanwhile, Safeway has planned its grand opening for the rebuilding of its store on Route 2 in Arnold to be Thursday.

Officials from both companies said the stores will provide customers with more convenience and options.
