Anne Arundel Community College has named Karen L. Cook of Riva as acting director of its new Legal Studies Institute. Ms. Cook oversees seven full-time and 30 part-time faculty members and manages the institute and the school's Legal Studies Internship Program. The institute offers degree and certificate programs of study including a Law and Jurisprudence prelaw transfer program and the American Bar Association-approved paralegal studies degree and certificate programs.
