Company translates for History ChannelCrofton - Compass Languages was recently tapped to translate more than 100 History Channel episodes into Farsi for broadcast in Iran in 2009. The Crofton-based firm was selected for the task by Voice of America, an international broadcasting service funded by the U.S. government. The History Channel documentaries show many of America's political, cultural, sports and economic figures. The project involves translating more than half a million words from scripts and is an ongoing part of Voice of America's 35 years of broadcasting in Iran. Compass Languages...
