TCS extends work with Baltimore

Annapolis - Baltimore city officials have agreed to add a year to the city's contract with TeleCommunication Systems Inc. to continue providing citywide network and systems support, according to a release.

The extension is worth $6 million and is an add-on to the deal the Annapolis-based company struck with the city in 2005. Another one-year extension remains on the original contract, according to the release.
