BuilderGuru buys part of Gardiner & Gardiner

After working together for six years, two major players in the Anne Arundel County building industry announced plans to consolidate their businesses.

BuilderGuru Contracting Inc., a 6-year-old general contractor in Millersville that primarily performs tenant and interior work throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, has purchased the construction division of Crofton-based Gardiner & Gardiner.

Gardiner & Gardiner has been a general contractor in Anne Arundel since 1935.

Ben Harries, who co-founded BuilderGuru, said he and his business partner Todd Haynie purchased the construction business of Gardiner & Gardiner...
