Annapolis-based Zenoss Inc. recently hired Olivier Thierry as its chief marketing officer. He has more than 30 years of enterprise software experience, having held numerous executive positions in leading providers including; NetIQ, Amdahl, Boole and Babbage, and KPMG Peat Marwick, according to a release.

Most recently, Thierry was CEO of FiveRuns, a venture-backed, open-source Web operations business.
