The state is teaming with Microsoft to provide free technology training to those who are out of work.
The partnership, "Microsoft Elevate America," is expected to provide thousands of out-of-work residents with training that is needed to make through the tough economic times, Gov. Martin O'Malley said in a release.
Working with the state Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, Microsoft plans to distribute 13,500 training vouchers statewide during the next 90 days.
