BWI, a hub for emerging airport security technology, received the grant from the Transportation Security Administration to make its baggage-screening process run more efficiently.
"The project will help provide efficiency for the screening of checked baggage," airport spokesman Jonathan Dean said. "The funding is for the design and construction of enclosures within TSA baggage-screening areas."
