In a show of confidence as the County Council moves toward a crucial vote, the Cordish Cos. will offer details next week on 4,000 jobs the company claims would be created by its planned slot machine casino at Arundel Mills mall.
Joe Weinberg, a managing partner with the Baltimore developer, said the company expects to fill 1,500 permanent jobs and 2,500 temporary construction jobs on the project. Cordish hopes to hire a majority of those workers from Anne Arundel County.
