The owner of Magothy Seafood Crab Deck and Tiki Bar, a popular neighborhood hangout for nearly 40 years, is seeking a new site for the business after closing up shop at an Arnold marina last month. Donald Broglie said he closed the restaurant because it was "cheaper to pick up my stove" and move to a new spot instead of extending his lease at Ferry Point Marina. The assertion in the article that "Magothy Seafood Crab Deck and Tiki Bar is one of a number of longtime local restaurants to close during the recession." is misleading because the closing of this restaurant had nothing to do with the recession, unlike Paul's.
But I guess this is why you don't write for a real newspaper.

I'm surprised that "restaurant experts" would advise anyone to raise their rent on a business in this economy. I expect the marina to have an empty restaurant for quite some time. With more and more landlords doing this maybe we should name it the "Florestano Syndrome".
