BWI updates Web site in real time

Linthicum - BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport earlier this month announced recently upgrading its Web site with better technology dealing with flight and weather tracking.

The airport has contracted with Boston-based FlightView, which already provides in-terminal tracking displays.

The new features were launched in October. The airport serves more than 55,000 passengers on more than 675 flights daily, according to a release.

To the Gov about Free E-Vouchers - 2010-01-08 09:27:32

Elevate America to provide free technology training for up to 13,500 Marylanders

I recently read in the Evening Capital that Microsoft is providing free vouchers for training and testing to help Marylanders advance their education. I was very exited about this until I read the fine print and found that this wonderful opportunity excludes State employees. Why can we not participate in this program? Considering the fact that we are being furloughed, and there are still over 3000 E-learning training vouchers and more than 5,000 exam certification vouchers still available, wouldnt that be a nice gift back to your employees?
