Not content to be just active on the boards of the Arthritis Foundation and the hospital's Medical Foundation, Eastport's Judy Stewart recently stepped out a bit further in the fight against breast cancer. She wrote a humorous book on the subject of mammograms as a fund-raiser for breast cancer research.
In her inaugural book, Hooterville, Mrs. Stewart writes in lyrical style about a town where only women reside. She addresses the subject of annual mammograms, or "squeeze" as it's affectionately known, by adding laughter and lighthearted fun to the mix.
