Compass Pointe As the county's economic development director and a north county resident, I have a keen interest in the recent public debate regarding the 36-hole Compass Pointe Golf Course in Pasadena. Like many local governments, the government of our region has made the availability of public golf courses a priority expenditure to enhance the quality of life. Business leaders choose to locate their businesses and jobs here because of our exceptional quality of life.
