The 44-year old resident of West Annapolis didn't lose the pounds. Instead, she gained more until, by February 2003, the weight on her 5-foot 4-inch frame had ballooned to 225 pounds.
Ms. Ray woke up one winter morning feeling she was having a heart attack and was, instead, hospitalized for two days with a severe anxiety attack.
"I realized I had to change my diet and my life," she said.
