The smell of french fries wafting through the air may become a familiar odor, as motorists fed up with the persistently rising cost of gasoline find other ways to maneuver themselves to work and play. Some turn away from the pumps altogether and take up biking or walking, others car pool, still others buy a hybrid. One Annapolis resident, however, has found success in turning used cooking oil into a clean smooth liquid source of fuel.
