Every Tuesday, 18-year-old St. Mary's High graduate Philip Balzano holds at least one angel in his hands. Behind him, dozens more rest silently on a shelf. The Annapolis resident is one of 90 volunteers of all ages who visit Bobbie Burnett's home in Epping Forest each week. There, they make stained glass angel sculptures for charity. Over the years, Ms. Burnett's Caring Collection has donated its profits from the sale of the angels - more than $640,000 - to cancer research and care at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Anne Arundel Medical Center.
